Certificate for the provision of Air Traffic Services (ATS), Communication, Navigation and Surveillance services (CNS) and Aeronautical Information Services (AIS)

 


As a provider of air navigation services, Slovenia Control’s services encompass the management, guidance and control of air traffic, the issue of the requisite aeronautical information and the creation, upgrade and maintenance of air traffic control and management systems on the basis of the licence (certification) to provide air navigation services.
 
Slovenia Control, Slovenian Air Navigation Services, Limited received its cetificate to provide air navigation services on 29th November 2013 from the Civil Aviation Agency, for air traffic control services (ATS), communications, navigation and surveillance services (CNS) and aeronautical information services (AIS). The company was awarded this certificate on the basis of an external assessment that proved that its air navigation services comply with the common requirements as set out by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 1035/2011 of 17 October 2011 laying down common requirements for the provision of air navigation services and amending Regulations (EC) No. 482/2008 and (EU) No. 691/2010 (OJ L 271/23 of 18 October 2011), and amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 448/2014 of 2 May 2014. This Cerficate shall remain valid until 1. 12. 2021. Retaining the certification to provide air navigation services by maintaining constant compliance with the common requirements is of key importance to the company’s business, and to its long-term existence and development.

Certificate to Train Air traffic Controllers and Flight information Service Personnel


Given the particular requirements of training personnel working in the area of air traffic control, the company devotes particular attention to training and educating its employees. This is the purpose of the Flight School, which carries out all the requisite activities for training employees working in this area who need a licence or permit for their work.


The Flight School operates on the basis of a work licence (certificate), by which it proves that it meets the conditions in accordance with Chapter IV. Commission Regulation (EU) No 805/2011 of 10 August 2011 laying down detailed rules for air traffic controllers’ licences and certain certificates pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council and 57. Article of Aviation Act (Ur. l. RS, No. 81/10 – official consolidated text) for training Air traffic Controllers (ATCO) and Flight information Service Personnel (FIS).

The work licence (certificate) was awarded to the Flight School by the Civil Aviation Agency on 27 January 2016.

The Flight School operates on the basis of a work licence (certificate), by which Slovenia Control, Ltd. is granted the status of an approved Training Organisation for ANS Personnel in accordance with the provision of Article 57 of Aviation Law (Official Gazette of RS, No. 81/10) and is entitled to provide training for Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel, Flight Data Personnel and Aeronautical Information Service Staff (AIS).

The work licence (certificate) was awarded to the Flight School by the Civil Aviation Agency on 28 December 2016.

 

 

Quality System

 

Slovenia Control, Slovenian Air Navigation Services, Limited holds quality certification under the SIST EN ISO 9001:2015 international standard. In November 2017 the company passed an external assessment of the compliance of its quality system with the aforementioned standard, thereby renewing its certification until January 2019.
