ENR 1.1  General rules

1   General

In Slovenia Commission implementing Regulation (EU) No 923/2012 (SERA) laying down the common rules of the air and operational provisions regarding services and procedures in air navigation as latest amended by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1185 of 20 July 2016 (SERA C) apply. In addition to SERA the provision of ICAO Annex 2 (Rules of the AIR), ICAO Annex 11 (Air Traffic Services) and ICAO Doc 4444 are used. Differences from ICAO standards, recommended practices and procedures are indicated in GEN 1.7.

2   Conditional Routes (CDR)

Conditional Routes (CDRs) are ATS Routes which are usable only under specific conditions. Three types of Conditional Routes are used as described below:
  • CDR 1 - A route which is permanently plannable during the times published in ENR 3.3.
  • CDR 2 - A route which is only plannable in accordance with the conditions stated in the daily Conditional Route Availability Message (CRAM) issued by the Central Flow Management Unit (CFMU).
  • A route which is not plannable per se but may be used tactically at the discretion of ATC.

3   Exemption for special operations

From requirement SERA.3215(a)(2) exemption for special operations in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 923/2012 was granted as follows:
  • At night pilot of a helicopter in flight is permitted to switch off or reduce the intensity of any flashing and navigation lights for the police missions activities and for the training necessary to carry out this activity safely;
