		  		  <description><![CDATA[<p>We would like to inform all users of the Slovenian airspace that the Slovenian Ministry of Transport has partially closed the Slovenian airspace according to the data received from the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia.</p>
<p>Airspace will be paritially closed from 16 April 2010 from 2300 hours local time to the north of the 46th parallel from the ground up to the height of 35.500&nbsp;feet, and over the entire territory of Slovenia from the ground up to the height of 35.500&nbsp;feet at 0330 hours local time on 17 April 2010.</p>
<p>The closure is planned to last till the&nbsp;14.00 hours local time, 18 April 2010.</p>...]]></description>

	 	  <title>SIST EN ISO 9001:2000 </title>

		  		  <description><![CDATA[<p>Third year after Slovenia Control, Ltd has adopted a process approach to Quality Management System (in short QMS), this strategic decision made by top management, has proven to be correct.</p>
<p>Now days, top management together with employees is spreading the awareness about the importance of QMS.</p>
<p>Significant changes and improvements have been made to activities and departments of Air Traffic Services with regard to QMS.</p>
<p>External auditors, from third party, our certification body, have performed the second surveillance audit. They have found minor nonconformities, however these nonconformities did not affect validity of ISO 9001:2000 certificate.</p>
<p>Some organizational changes have been made. New organizational units were established: Common Affairs Division, General Affairs Division and Director&rsquo;s Office. In Director&rsquo;s Office Slovenia Control has gathered Quality, Safety and Security under one roof.</p>
<p>With reorganization Slovenia Control, Ltd has established process approach to main and sub processes of QMS. Quality manual and all the accompanying documentation, was created and published in February 2009.</p>
<p>Certification body has audited the quality management process and approved the conformity to QMS standard SISIT EN ISO 9001:2000 and based on that confirmed the validity of certificate 209585 issued on06.03.2008 valid until 19.1.2010.</p>
<p>Top management has made a step forward to achieving Total Quality Management (TQM) with the decisions of implementing QMS to General Affairs Division and Common Affairs Division. Slovenia Control has decided to perform its recertification according to new ISO 9001:2008. Recertification will take place in January 2010.</p>
<p>Obtaining the certificate is a result of an extensive QMS team. All employees are aware of importance of Quality policy which was adopted by top management.</p>
<p>Keeping the certificate is a vital focus point for all employees therefore Quality is implemented in every task that is trusted to them.</p>
<p>Quality is implemented in our work from the very first beginning of every activity, process or project to the far end.Only threw cooperation and quality assurance a guarantee can be given to preserve QMS, with which Slovenia Control has proven that is capable of fulfilling its mission in a high quality manner.</p>
<p>With monitoring and statistical analyzes of performance and efficiency of every single process employees are contributing to the establishment of correct criteria, for determination of QMS.</p>
<p>Slovenia Control&rsquo;s competent personal is transferring new working habits in our working environment, all with one goal, to assure the best possible quality threw all our working procedure, for the satisfaction of our clients, which is our number one priority.</p>...]]></description>

		  		  <description><![CDATA[<p>Slovenia Control Ltd. Air navigation services provider has successfully prolonged the Air navigation services provider Certificate.</p>
<p>Certificate has been issued by Ministry of transport pursuant to <b>COMMISSION</b><b> REGULATION (EC) No 2096/2005 of 20 December 2005 laying down common requirements for the provision of air navigation services.</b></p>
<p>Slovenia Control Ltd. has received its first Air navigation services provider certificate on the 21st of December 2006. Due to limited validation of the certificate, it was necessary to prolong the certificate for another two year period by the end of this year. The company has successfully completed all required procedures to prolong the certificate. Civil Aviation Directorate as the national supervisory authority, has successfully completed all required audits and the certificate has been reissued for the additional two year period.</p>
<p>Slovenia Control Ltd. has been recognized as compliant to the requirements of the <b>COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 2096/2005 of 20 December 2005 laying down common requirements for the provision of air navigation services </b>to provide Air traffic Services (ATS), Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Services (CNS) and Aeronautical Information Services (AIS).</p>...]]></description>

	 	  <title>Adding a New Process to The Scope of Quality Management System in Slovenia Control, Ltd</title>

		  		  <description><![CDATA[<p>Slovenia Control, Ltd has over a year ago implemented Quality management system, according to the process approach and therefore obtained a certificate according to the International standard ISO 9001:2000.</p>
<p>In February 2008 our company was submitted to the first surveillance audit conducted by a third party, certification body Bureau Veritas.</p>
<p>Third party audit has found out some minor non-conformances which did not affect preservation of our certificate. Due to the organizational changes and implementation of a new process, training of ATM staff, we have renewed our Quality management system manual and issued a new version.</p>
<p>With adding this new process to the scope of our quality management system, Top management has made a step foreword to achieving Total Quality Management.</p>
<p>Certification body has reviewed the process and endorsed the conformity to the International Standard ISO 9001:2000 and there fore they have issued a new certificate No. 209585 from 06 March 2008.</p>
<p>Keeping the certificate represents a vital focus for all employees. Central to our culture of continuous improvement, key performance metrics are continuously measured and results are reviewed.</p>
<p>We provide our employees with ongoing, tailored education and training, threw this we are building competent personal in order to verify and develop their methodological skills and competences, offering them quality tools with which to perform their day-to-day tasks.</p>
<p>Through permanent and continual improvement processes, initiatives are identified that will increase the quality of our services. The implementation of such measures is given top priority. 		  		  <description><![CDATA[<p>Government of the Republic of Slovenia is on session 21.02.2008 accepted resolution concerning renaming of Airport Maribor to Airport Edvard Rusjan Maribor. Name starts to be&nbsp;used 15th in June 2008.</p>
<p>Ministry of Transport got proposal of Airport Maribor, Ltd., let to airport Maribor assigns also name of airport, as is this practice also in other states. Similarly initiative passed also citizen Silvo &Scaron;kornik. Both proposers suggest designation name according to Edvard Rusjan they speak in favour of which with his pioneer's achievements on aviation field and statements that 100 years will pass in 2008 since brothers Rusjan made first model of an airplane and 100 years in 2009 since Edvard Rusjan performed the first flight with an airplane. With that event Edvard Rusjan placed Slovenes among other nations pioneering the development of aviation.</p>
<p>Despite renaming of the Maribor airport, international coding of the airport remains unchanged: ICAO code remains LJMB and IATA code remains MBX
