Chief Executive Officer, Franc Željko Županič, M.Sc.

In 1984 he graduated from the Military Aviation Academy and in 2003 he successfully completed his Masters at the University of Westminster in London.

In 1991 he entered a job at the Ministry of Defence. In 1994 he became Assistant Commander of the Military Aviation Unit at Brnik airport and in 1996 he was appointed Assistant Chief of the Slovenian Military Aviation at the General Chiefs of Staff of the Slovenian Military. In 1999 he became Chief of the International Co-operation Department at the General Chiefs of Staff of the Slovenian Military and between 2000 and 2005 he was the Defence Attaché of the Republic of Slovenia in Great Britain at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in London.In 2005, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia appointed him as General Director of the Directorate for Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Transportation.

On 20 March 2008, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia appointed him as Director of Slovenia Control, Slovenian Air Navigation Services, Limited.

He has the rank of Colonel in aviation and is a professional pilot and flying instructor.
