Ljubljana Airport (LJLJ)- Main Apron extension

1  VALIDITY

From 05 SEP 2009 to 19 NOV 2009 EST or until published in AIP by AIP AMDT

2  GENERAL INFORMATION

Main apron will be extended on its westerly side. This will incorporate additional 5 parking stands. There will be 3 nose-in / push-back parking stands in first row for ICAO chapter C aircraft (named 13, 14 and 15) or, as a substitute, 2 stands for ICAO chapter D aircraft (named 13A and 15 A) and 2 self maneuvering parking stands in second row (named 39 and 40).
Access to PSN 13(A), 14 and 15(A) is available via TWY E4. Access to PSN 39 and 40 is available via TWY O3.
Extended part of main apron is connected to TWY A via new TWY M.
On existing part of main apron, parking stand markings for second row (self maneuvering stands) will be redesigned and renamed.
Transition to operational use of main apron as a whole will be done progressively through different stages.
Arriving aircraft will be assisted with follow me car for taxiing on main apron during the transition period.

Due to extension of the main apron following changes in designation and ACFT stand marking will be applied.

4  APRON TAXIWAY LAYOUT

New TWY M connecting TWY A and main apron.
Main apron taxiway is designated as TWY E and divided in four parts (E1, E2, E3 and E4).
Access to PSN 32A and 32B is via TWY O1.
In special circumstances (if instructed by aerodrome control) access to stands 36 and 37 can be made via TWY O2 or access to stand 31 can be made via TWY O1.
Access to PSN 39 and 40 is via TWY O3.
